In partnership with Halfords the Travel Choices team have organised a free Dr Bike session for all residents of Snowhill. The Dr Bike event will be located on the green space by Ruby Street between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 13th September 2025 to provide free basic cycle checks, advice on maintenance and bike security tagging.
The Halfords mechanics will check over your bike to give you peace of mind that it is safe to ride. The session is ideal for those who ride infrequently or whose bike could do with a good tune-up. The session will cover a 32-point assessment plus a 12-part service and adjustment. This includes checking tyre condition and inflating if required, lubrication of the chain, adjusting brakes, gear tension and limit screws plus a check over of all wearable parts.If your bike requires additional repairs the Halfords mechanics can discuss this further and provide some advice and information.
