Join us outdoors (weather permitting) in Walpole Park in Ealing on 25th September to share drinks and nibbles, and chat about this month's book 'Taking Flight' by Lev Parikian, appropriately surrounded by the subject of the book - things that fly!
And this month we're very lucky to be joined by the author of the book, Lev - a wonderfully funny, superbly knowledgeable and all round lovely person. So keep a note of any questions and thoughts as you read, and look forward to being further absorbed in the world of flight as we discuss the book with Lev himself. Feel free to bring along some snacks and drinks for yourself or to share. We'll be sitting on an obnoxiously large picnic blanket so no need to bring seating, unless you'd prefer a chair.
(And as usual don't worry if you run out of time to finish the book by then; there's lots to chat about even if you haven't quite finished.)
Oxfam Books on The Green (W5 5DA) will try to set aside any copies of the chosen book they get so do pop along there if you can :)
