Be mindful – stay positive: Sunday September 23rd, 10am – 12.30pm

On this course we will learn all about mindfulness; what mindfulness is and how to use it both in meditation and during daily life. By training ourselves to think positively and maintain an authentic mental peace we will discover our potential for lasting happiness and joy.

Seating at the event is on chairs and no prior experience of meditation is needed.


Meditation is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve our quality of life, however it also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for thousands of years.

The benefits of meditation include:

– Improves mindfulness & concentration
– Promotes a more positive approach to life
– Aids relaxation and letting go of tension

Teacher: Gen Nyingpo is an English Buddhist nun with nearly 25 years experience of teaching meditation.
