5.10 - 5.40 - Richard Hollis, Director, Risk Factory - 'Dance Band on the Titanic: The Data Loss Iceberg Principle'
What if everything we’re doing to secure our data is for naught? Have you stopped and thought that perhaps this data has already been compromised and the efforts we continually make to protect it day in and day out are - too little too late? Where does that leave us as information security professionals?
Over the course of his career Richard has served as Director of Security for Phillips, Paris, and Deputy Director of Security for the US Embassy Moscow Reconstruction Project as well as a variety of sensitive security positions within the US government and military. In addition to his work with Risk Factory, Richard serves on several security technology company boards and security industry advisory councils.

6.15 - Dai Davis - 'Virtual Currency'
Dai is a Technology Lawyer. He read Physics at Keble College, Oxford and took a Masters Degree in Computing Science at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne before qualifying as a Solicitor. He is a qualified Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Dai is an active member of the Society for Computers and Law in the United Kingdom and has been Chairman of its Northern Branch and a member of the Council of that Society. Dai has consistently been recommended in the Legal 500 and in Chambers Guides to the Legal Profession.
Dai will be speaking about virtual currencies, their huge rate of adoption, and some of the challenges both regulators and security professional face when trying to secure such a fast moving industry.
