Ideal for busy people who would like to have a 10 minute daily self-practice that connects body, breath and mind
This is the perfect self-practice routine as it captivates the imagination through the Five Elements of nature
It provides interest and inspiration to last a lifetime
No special equipment or clothing is required – take the Five Elements with you wherever you go.
We will start the morning with a Lu Jong class with movements to include the Five Elements Practice followed by a selection of movements from the Lu Jong 1 practice.
We will then take a deep dive into the Five Elements Movements from a physical health perspective to stimulate your logical left brain. You will understand why the practice is beneficial. This will inspire and motivate you to continue with your self-practice. This is empowering.
Whether you are new to the practice or have been doing this for a while, you will find something for yourself in the workshop as we go through each movement in greater depth than we are able to in regular classes.
In the afternoon, we will explore the emotions associated with each of the Five Elements.
Learn how to transform the negative emotions that can become like poisons for the body and mind if we allow them to take hold for any length of time.
Like we would with poisons, we apply an antidote to the negative emotion to help transform it into its pure state.
Anger becomes Compassion
Jealousy become Love
Attachment becomes Selflessness
Ego/Pride becomes Calm
Miserliness becomes Equanimity
We will spend the rest of the afternoon creating the perfect balance of invigoration, rejuvenation and relaxation through Tibetan inspired Breathwork, Meditation and Sound healing practices.
It will be a day that will inform every other day with a little more joy, acceptance, gratitude, wisdom and compassion.
