Join us for a guided walk along the beautiful Jurassic Coast at Worth Matravers followed by drink and a bite to eat at a local pub.
Starting in the far 'Renscombe' car park in Worth Matravers, we will walk along the new National Trust path down to the coast, turning right to visit the National Coastguard Institution Lookout at St Albans/Aldhelms Head.
Down and up the the coast path steps to Emmets Hill, on to the Marines' memorial garden and back to the car park.
The car park was the central area to one of the most important Radar development stations in the country. Learn about the history and the vital role it played in World War II. Great coastal and countryside views.
