Clapham Chamber Concerts kicks off its new 2025-2026 season on Friday 17th October, with a concert featuring Ensemble SW4 directed by artistic directors Amanda Lake (violin) and Jonathan Parkin (clarinet).

Beethoven's charming and much-loved Septet in E flat major is at the heart of the programme. Scored for strings, clarinet, bassoon and horn, it is one of the most outstanding works in the 'divertimento' genre, and one of Beethoven's most popular works during his lifetime.

Audiences will also be treated to Franz Berwald's 'Grand Septet', a work of great humour, displaying the unique voice of this lesser known composer.

A great way to start the season and an evening not to be missed!
