Event Details

Please join us for three talks and one big conversation exploring the starting points for the design of services and good customer experiences.

We’ll explore questions like:

  • Where do you actually start?
  • Who do you start with?
  • What kind of people, processes and propositions make a new service more likely to succeed?

We’ll hear from:

Dr James Munro, Patient Opinion

NHS Healthcare

James, medical professional turned entrepreneur, will be sharing his story about the social enterprise ‘Patient Opinion’ and how they are responding to the challenge of designing better services in the NHS.

Kathryn Grace, Everything Everywhere | Orange & T-Mobile

Retail Customer Experience Planning

Kathryn, Senior Customer Experience/Service Designer for Everything Everywhere, will be sharing insights on customer experience design from her work in their in-house Design & Usability team.

Guy Julier, Leeds Love it Share it

"Margins within the City" Community Development Project

Guy, Professor of Design at Leeds Metropolitan University, also part of the community interest company, Leeds Love it Share it, will be sharing his story of a recent community development project in Leeds.
