About this event

There are 10 million adults in the UK who are digitally excluded and many of whom found themselves cut off from essential services and social contact during the pandemic. Libraries helped in many ways and recognized this increase in need in their local communities.

At this webinar, Helen Milner, the Group CEO of Good Things Foundation will introduce how they can support libraries digital inclusion work.

Join the webinar to find out more about accessing the National Databank and Device Bank, and hear about a new programme that is being planned to support libraries to develop powerful local partnerships to reach into communities.

The webinar will:

- Introduce Good Things Foundation and the digital divide, introduction to how it works with libraries including our specialist meet-ups for libraries and digital inclusion, and other programmes like the Census.

- Introduce the National Databank and explain what it is and how libraries can access free mobile connectivity for people using their libraries who are experiencing data poverty.

- Introduce other aspects of Good Things Foundation’s digital inclusion work including a new Device Bank, where libraries will be able to also access refurbished devices alongside the databank.

- Outline a new programme that is planning to support libraries to develop powerful local partnerships to reach deep into their communities.
