SERVICE NETWORK: Creative and Agile Thinking
Thu 24 November 2016, 08:00 – 12:00 GMT
For so long creativity wasn’t required at work. Indeed it was actively discouraged – a distraction from executing the task at hand. Now it’s becoming a necessity in a world that is increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous. In a world of perpetual unrest, business needs to be nimble.
Agile thinking provides the fresh approach so often required to respond to today’s challenges. It’s not a silver bullet, and it requires work, but in a world divided into leaders and laggards, it’s the organisations that are quick on their feet that will survive.
“The world is changing very fast. Big will not beat small anymore. It will be the fast beating the slow.” Rupert Murdoch
This session will lift the lid on the terms and techniques of Agile and help you consider the implications for both your organisation, and for you.
By the end of this training event you will be able to:
- State the fundamentals of Agile thinking
- Explain the Agile manifesto and its implications for your organisation
- Apply Agile and Creative thinking techniques to your own work challenges
The event is free to members of Service Network and non-members can attend for £50+VAT (&fees).
