A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life and Work of Chris Martin will be held at St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, on 18 October 2016.
Chris rose to high office in the civil service but always retained a sense of humility, selflessness and service to Nation and Government. Chris, to the many who knew him, was a man for all seasons, a true team player, much loved for his understanding and the generous friendship he showed to others.
