Description

'Co-Production - The Value of Service User, Carer and Public Involvement in Teaching, Learning and Research'

We invite you to this full day event encompassing plenary sessions, presentations and workshops aswell as an opportunity to network with other delegates and view the posters and marketplace.

The event is hosted by the University of Hertfordshire's School of Health and Social Work in collaboration with the School of Life and Medical Sciences, and its Service User and Public Involvement (SUPI) Core Group.

Our confirmed speakers for the day are:

  • Gary Hickey (INVOLVE) and Tracey Johns (Research Design Service, East of England);
    “Co-producing research: principles, practice and partnerships”

  • Iain MacBeath, (Director of Adult Care Services, Hertfordshire County Council) and members from the co-production board;
    “Co-Production, not Consultation!”

We welcome colleagues from across the University and from different organisations and sectors in Hertfordshire and beyond to participate in this exciting event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

College Lane Campus is off Junction 2 of the A1 (M). Download a map of the College Lane Campus.
If you require parking, please email s.prime@herts.ac.uk to obtain a parking permit. You must ensure the permit is clearly displayed on your vehicle to avoid a parking penalty. There are accessible parking spaces directly outside the venue.

Train
The nearest train stations are Hatfield (less than 10 minutes) station or St. Albans' City (approx. 15 minutes) station

Bus
ARRIVA and UNO Bus connects the University with Hatfield station and St Albans station.

Taxi
A taxi rank is available at both Hatfield and St Albans' City stations.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes - please contact s.prime@herts.ac.uk to arrange.
If you have previously requested parking , please ensure you pass the parking permit onto the new delegate in advance. If you have not requested parking and the new delegate requires parking, please email s.prime@herts.ac.uk who will issue you with a parking permit which must be clearly displayed in their vehicle at all times.
