This is the fifth in a series of technical lectures on the Building Safety Act and its impact on the wider industry. This session will focus on Gateways. It will define what these are and when they are relevant during design, construction and occupation of Higher Risk Buildings, and explain what is expected of structural engineers to fulfil the associated requirements and how design and construction programmes are affected by Gateway submissions.
