SET Challenge: The Final

SET’s annual flagship event is the ‘SET Challenge’. Once a year, students are invited to create or showcase an innovative idea, product or service that can make a real difference to a community or to a consumer of their choice. Winning teams receive cash investments and access to mentors.

The Final ceremony of the SET Challenge is the perfect networking opportunity to meet with likeminded students and experts in the fashion industry.

Food, drinks and networking will be provided straight after so please join us for some fun!

This event is open to all participants of the SET Challenge and all LCF Students & Alumni + SET Friends, who are curious as to what the Challenge was all about. You will see the 5 finalists selected by our industry friends Cindy Liberman and Faith Leeves from Lara Intimates, Jonathan from Holition and Emma-Jayne from Squid London

The finalists will be pitching their ideas to a panel of expert judges (see below) for the chance to win up to £4000. The runners up will receive £2,000, third place £1000 and 4th + 5th will take £500!

You will also have the chance to meet the judges and hear from our guests speakers, which include last year's SET Challenge winner Cindy Liberman and Ian Mason from Virgin Start-up. Ian is an economist, author and entrepreneur. He is the founder of an education company, providing physical and digital learning resources to schools across the UK and globally. He was asked personally by Sir Richard Branson to create Virgin Start Up, a not-for-profit company for entrepreneurs.

Doors will open at 16:15
