How to set-up a not-for-profit group

Thinking about starting a community group, charity, or social enterprise but unsure where to begin?

Join us for this practical and engaging session, designed to help you turn your idea into reality!

  • Understand the best structure for your group
  • Learn what’s needed to get started
  • Find out how long the process takes and where to get support
  • Ask questions and connect with like-minded individuals

Attendees will receive a post-session written guide for future reference.

The Trainer brings decades of experience in the voluntary and community sector, and now serves as Chair of a children’s charity and advises trustees across the Thames Valley. He may not know everything, but he certainly knows who to ask!

This training is free to join but there is a cost for us to deliver.

**NB. A charge of £30 will be incurred for non-attendance not notified to us within 48 hrs of the course start time; this will be invoiced to you or your organisation.

Slough CVS is a local charity funded to support groups in Slough, Windsor, Ascot , Maidenhead and surrounding areas so please only register for this training if you provide services or intend to volunteer in the areas we serve. If we have places available 24 hours before the start of the training and you would like to attend but are not in our area of benefit, please email enquiries@sloughcvs.org.uk and we will try to accommodate you.
