Event Information
About this event
This event is for educational psychologists who are considering going into private practice, whether you are still unsure of whether it's right for you, or have already decided to make the leap. The focus is on the business steps involved in operating independently, rather than your psychological practice. It is not intended to persuade, but to inform and provide practical advice on next steps.
Claire Olliffe is the Business Director, and a founder, of Psychology4Learning Ltd, a private educational psychology practice. Claire is hosting the webinar and will cover the following topics:
- Business Planning - e.g. goals, market segmentation, pricing, sales and marketing, project planning, finances
- Back office set up - e.g. IT, finances, legal considerations, business policies
- The business process - from taking an order to completing the work
Every persons situation is different, by the end of this webinar the aim is that you will be able to ask yourself the right questions, know what information you need to gather, and be ready to start making decisions about working privately.
This is a live event, but it will also be recorded using MS Teams, and a copy of the recording will be sent to anyone who has paid to attend. Therefore if at the last minute you're not able to attend, or are interrupted in the middle of the presentation, you can still go back and listen / watch the webinar.
