Settlement Agreements – getting it right
Overview
“It’s just a simple settlement agreement, I have done loads before… the danger of thinking they are a doddle!”
Burnetts Solicitors are back to deliver an insightful and informative webinar on exiting employees via a settlement agreement. Whilst these are topics that you might feel you deal with regularly and are well versed with, it is scary how quickly these are can go wrong if not carried out properly. A refresher is always a good idea!
AnnaLovett will work through the legal principles of settlement agreements, including how to correctly conduct a section 111A conversation and what “without prejudice” actually means.
Join us on Tuesday 18th November for a 60-minute webinar to refresh your knowledge and understand the key legal aspects needed to protect your business and correctly manage the process, including:
- How to have a protected conversation
- The settlement package – what to offer?
- Common negotiation points · The statutory requirements
- The must have clauses in a settlement agreement (!)
Even though it will be delivered online, questions are always welcome throughout and at the end of the presentation. So, plenty of opportunity to hear your experiences or ask anything you wish to clarify!
Please register here to secure your place!
We look forward to seeing you there.
