Description

The seven day hospital services programme has been developed to ensure that anyone who requires urgent or emergency care can expect to receive the same quality of assessment, diagnosis, treatment and review on any day of the week.

With all acute trusts now working towards implementing these four priority clinical standards, the aim of this regional event is to bring together those working on the programme to tackle common challenges and share practical benefits such as, improving flow, reducing pressures on emergency departments and improved staff retention by providing new opportunities and responsibilities.

The day will consist of a mixture of plenary and interactive sessions aimed at sharing good practice, commencing at 9.30am (registration from 9am) and finishing at 4pm.

Register now for your opportunity to:

  • hear about the latest national developments from Kathy McLean, Executive Medical Director of NHS Improvement
  • hear from early adopters of the seven day services programme describe the benefits, successes and challenges of implementation

  • network and develop connections with trusts within your region.

Who should attend?

  • Clinicians and managers involved in the operational delivery of seven day services within trusts.

Please register as soon as possible as spaces are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

Please take care when entering your name, title and trust in the registration form as the way it's written is exactly how it will appear on your name badge.
