About this event

Take on this amazing feat of endurance and fitness as you will scale the heights of the 7 peaks in the Mournes over 700m! This is not for the fainthearted but we can guarantee you will feel on top of the world when you complete this amazing challenge while also raising vital funds for Action Mental Health services.

Registration Fee: £35

Minimum Fundraising Target: £300

Important: Participants need to have the skills, fitness and experience to complete a walk of this length in the high mountains.

This is a long, tough and exhilarating day in the hills. You’ll cover approx. 15 miles, with 2,000m of vertical ascent. With the right training behind you, you’ll be able to view the very heart of our stunning Mourne Mountains.

Recommended Equipment Check List

1. Hill Walking Boots

2. Warm Fleece Clothing both top/bottoms

• All equipment should be carried regardless of the weather as conditions can and do change rapidly in Mountains

• Fluid and food should be sufficient to compensate for energy exertion above and beyond a normal daily intake

• First aid kit should contain at the least wipes, band aids, basic wound dressings and a blister pack

• The use of Jeans and Trainers(excluding trail shoes/runners) will not be permitted
