Event Overview
One of the most iconic hikes in the England, Seven Sisters is a beautiful coastal walk that starts in Seaford and ends in Eastbourne, covering ~22km and ~800m elevation. Blogger Paul Healy captures it’s essence well in the following blog excerpt:
“The Seven Sisters Cliffs are an iconic stretch of coastline in southern England where glistening white cliffs drop into the azure ocean. Here is our guide for capturing the best viewpoints and the best walk. The steep chalk cliffs that undulate along the Seven Sisters Country Park are iconic English scenery. And for good reason. Pristine white cliffs wedged between rolling rural farmland on one side and the English Channel on the other, form one of the most scenic coastal views in the country. With a blanket of green grass on top, the glow of the sea below, and the luminance of the cliffs blazing in front, the light at Seven Sisters is spellbinding. Even a moody English day can’t dampen the lustre of this popular place.”
Due to the limited day light, this will be an early start to avoid finishing the hike in the dark. Hiking experience is required, this will be more of a more difficult walk with 6 hours of moving time.
