We’re hosting an exciting open evening on Thursday October 21st 2021 at the Genting Hotel (Resort World - Birmingham international) to talk about our Green Recovery plans! We’d love to tell you more about the programme which sees a significant £565m investment - looking at what this means and the brilliant career opportunities it brings.

We will be playing a key role in helping the country bounce back from the COVID 19 pandemic, helping leave a legacy for generations to come!

On the evening we will have key stakeholders presenting on all things Green Recovery, with both our Capital and Operations teams featured.

Specifically, we’ll be looking at how we’re planning to:

- Increase water supplies using low carbon technology

- Create two bathing rivers to encourage wild swimming

- Improve 500k of river (5 years early!)

- Reduce flood risk

- Introduce over 150,000 smart meters

- Use innovation to replace lead pipes in over 26,000 homes

Plus, we’ll also have representation on the evening from the Project Management Institution (PMI).

In addition to Green Recovery, we will also have representation from other areas across Severn Trent and our core teams – who will be able to talk to you about the core Amp7 programme and their plans.
