Join us for a creative weekend at the Coda Music & Arts Trust making a pair of linen dungarees under the expert guidance of Sew Mrs Bee (Nancy). Mrs Bee will meticulously guide you through each stage of the process, including selecting, tracing, and cutting out the pattern and fabric, preparing the pieces, and sewing them together.
The dungaree design is uniform, includes multiple pockets and is available to make in various sizes. Prior to the weekend, you will be required to select a first and second choice of fabric colour and provide a few measurements. This class is tailored for proficient sewists, and participants must bring their own sewing machines and should be well-versed in how to use them. The class will be fast paced and will involve pattern copying as well as cutting and making.
The cost includes a pattern to take away and re-use, making instructions, fabric and thread; however, attendees are expected to bring fabric shears, paper scissors, a tape measure, snips, pins, and bobbins.
Please bring a packed lunch with you, tea and coffee will be provided
Spaces limited to 4 people
This is a two day course Saturday and Sunday (6th and 7th September)
