Welcome to Sew Beginners - Level 2!
Are you ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? Join Mrs Bee (Nancy) at Coda Music and Arts Trust on Mon Nov 3 2025 at 18:30 to develop your sewing ability and confidence. This 5-week course will focus on specific areas of sewing which will enable you to make better garments and soft furnishings.
After graduating from Ab-SEW-lute Beginners* you will now move onto learning about fastenings and fitting techniques. You will then use these new skills to make a simple skirt.
*It is not essential to have taken part in our previous classes, but some knowledge is required. This course is designed to suit people who have already mastered threading their machine, loading a bobbin and can sew a seam using straight stitch and reverse. We will not be teaching you how to use your machine in this course - if you need a refresher or are a complete novice please try our Ab-SEW-lute Beginners classes.
The studio is very accessible with easy level access to the large carpark.
Ideally, you will bring your own machine, but if you do not have one we can loan one to you for the session. You will need to notify us prior to the sessions.
2m of fabric and a paper pattern to fit you, are both included in the price.
