Celebrate your local fabric shop with Sew Saturday this October!
Whether you’re a novice stitcher, pro dressmaker or just fancy trying out a new craft, don’t miss Sew Saturday.
On Saturday 15th October, sewing shops across the UK will be celebrating Sew Saturday, the climax of months of activity from the Sew Saturday campaign launched by leading publication Sew magazine last year.
Happy Hare is just one of the many stores delighted to be involved.
The event is supported by the industry with Sew Saturday ambassadors, including May Martin and series one Sewing Bee contestants and stitching personalities Stuart Hillard and Lauren Guthrie, in a bid to boost the profile of bricks and mortar sewing stores and to remind their customers of the fantastic, irreplaceable, personal service they provide.
Happy Hare is very happy to be taking part in this event. Stitching and dressmaking is really growing in popularity, and customers rely on their local fabric shop for more than just great fabric and supplies. It’s a place to get advice and feel part of the community too.
We will be offering a number of free activities. Come along to stitch a felt hare, which can be used as a brooch, pin cushion or hanging decoration. You can also help us make some bonding hearts for sick and premature babies (further details at www.sheffieldhospitalscharity.org.uk/bondinghearts ).
Special Sew Saturday Offers:
FREE fat quarter pack for the first five customers to spend £10.00 on the day
DOUBLE POINTS on loyalty cards – get TWO stamps for every £10.00 spent.
Complimentary tea, coffee and button biscuits!
