Sew You Can!

Join our team at Springburn Auditorium and facilitator Nicki (they/them) for a free hand sewing class to learn how to repair clothes. Bring along your own clothes, or practise on the fabric provided. Things we can learn to fix include:

- Replace buttons

- Patch holes

- Close rips

- Fix open seams

- Take up fallen hems

You are welcome to drop in any time between 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday 28th September at Springburn Auditorium in Springburn Park. The session is completely free to attend, and all sewing equipment will be provided.

Suitable for beginners and anyone aged 16+

Drinks, crisps and home-baked cakes (vg options available) are available to purchase, with all funds directly going towards more free community events. You are also welcome to just pop by for a cuppa, a wee seat, or a nosy, if you do not want to get involved in the sewing activity itself.
