Join Emily, a designer-maker, on Saturday 3rd December from 1-4pm to design and make your very own cute critter. She will help you to design your very own character and transfer this in to a pattern that you will create your plushie from. As well as learning how to transfer an idea in to a pattern, you will learn how to assemble and handsew your plushie, as well as learning embroidery stitches and techniques.
The plushies that she has designed have made very popular gifts and can be used as decorations or cushions for children and adults. They also make great heirloom pieces by using treasured fabrics from an item that you want to keep but no longer have any use for, such as baby clothes or an item of clothing you no longer wear.
Materials are provided but bring along any fabric or haberdashery you would like to use. As with all of our classes, complimentary tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake are included in the price. All abilities are welcome (over 18s only).
Please remember to bring a print out of your ticket with you to the event or if you have a smart phone you can show the the email confirmation.
