Sewing Skills – Hems & Edges (Code: L2S1/H)

Focus in on just the skills you would like to learn or refresh! Skills workshops are for beginners to intermediate - must know sewing machine basics, & include Seams, Hems & Edges, Zips, Buttonholes and Pockets. And in this workshop, our focus is on Hems & Edges! We’ll finish things off with Invisible hems (by hand & machine), Bias-bound, Top-Stitch & Scallops!

Everything you need for all the Sewing Skills workshops will be provided, including a sewing machine, equipment, fabric and haberdashery. We do suggest however, that if you have your own sewing machine & equipment, you bring them if you can, as these will be what you are using at home later. The workshop also includes the Sewing Tutor portfolio pages on which you can mount your skills-samples to gradually build up your very own Sewing Tutor how-to guide!

Please note – the workshops are on the 2nd floor and unfortunately there is no lift.
