Have you thought about learning to sew, but been too worried about signing up to a 6-10 week course in case you hate it? Now here is your chance to try it for free.
This summer, in conjunction with Hampshire Open Studios the Coda’s resident artists will be showcasing their work at the Coda gallery, featuring painting, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, printmaking, and more.
There will be an opportunity to buy their work and participate in taster sessions or workshops. Sew Mrs Bee (Nancy) is holding 2 hour free sewing taster sessions over three days of this event. You will learn to use a sewing machine to make a very simple bag, piece of bunting or sewing accessory. All materials and equipment will be provided.
These classes are for Adults only and will be small groups.
There are three 2 hour sessions a day to choose from and tea or coffee will also be provided.
Each person is only entitled to attend one two hour session.
