Sex, Love and Relationships in the Charedi World and Beyond
Join us for an evening of thought-provoking discussion on sex, love, and relationships. This in-person event will be held at Alyth Gardens, where a panel made up of GesherEU members and experts will discuss their own experiences and delve deeply into the issues of sex and love in the Charedi community, and the different challenges in the outside world.
Have you ever wondered what's it like to have to marry and sleep with someone you don't know and aren't attracted to? And what about when you leave the community? How difficult is it to navigate dating in the mainstream world where the rules are entirely different? What are the psychological impacts and how can they be overcome?
Panellists include: Yiddish expert, Izzy Posen; relationship and psychosexual therapist, Jean Miller; the founder of GesherEU, Emily Green.
After our panellists have shared their experiences and knowledge, you'll get a chance to ask questions.
The panel event will be followed by a social, where you'll get a chance to eat and drink, meet members, catch up with old friends and make new ones, and learn more about what GesherEU does.
Tickets are free, but we only have a limited number, so please RSVP here as soon as you can.
