Event description

Description

These group discussions are part of a wider research project being undertaken by Waverley Care and Scottish Trans Alliance, looking at trans and non-binary access to sexual health services in Scotland. The first stage of the research was a survey with trans and non-binary people, which received over 250 responses.

We are now inviting people to take part in a series of discussion events, which will explore what people would like sexual and reproductive health services for trans and non-binary people to look like in the future. We'll provide food at the event and will reimburse reasonable travel expenses. We'll also give each attendee £20, in recognition of their participation.

We'll use the findings from the discussion events to produce a research report. We also plan to submit a summary of the findings to the Inquiry into Sexual and Reproductive Rights for Trans and Non-binary People, recently launched by the Cross-Party Working Group on Sexual Health and Blood Borne Viruses.

If you would like to take part in the research but do not want to attend a group, get in touch and we may be able to organise a one-to-one interview.
