Summary:

Join us for a powerful and informative session on sexual harassment awareness and prevention designed to foster a culture of respect, safety, and accountability. This workshop takes a constructive approach, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to identify, address, and prevent harassment in the workplace.


Objectives:

  • The impact on individuals and workplace culture
  • How to recognise and challenge harmful behaviours
  • The role of bystanders, allies, and leaders in fostering a safe environment
  • Practical strategies for prevention and reporting

This session is crucial to building inclusive, respectful workplaces where everyone feels valued and protected.

Facilitator

Hira Ali is an inspiring leadership development and allyship specialist, executive career coach, and acclaimed writer and speaker. Throughout her award-winning career, she has been dedicated to helping others realise their inherent potential. Among hundreds of other print, radio, and television platforms, her work has been featured in prestigious outlets such as The Harvard Business Review, Forbes, The Telegraph, B.B.C., Harper's Bazaar, The Independent, C.B.C., HuffPost, and Entrepreneur. Hira's contributions have earned her numerous prestigious honours, titles, and awards.

She is a member of the Senior Advisory Team for Benedictine University Illinois L.E.A.D.S. leadership program for undergraduate women, an IDEA Practitioner at NASA, and an advisory member for the Women in Transport Intersectionality Advisory Group. Hira is also a member of W.L.G.'s Conversations with Men Advisory Council. In 2024, she was recognised as one of the Top 50 influential Muslims in Europe, including the UK, and featured as Outstanding British Pakistani by the British Pakistan Foundation.

Hira was also highlighted by Diverse In as a global D&I voice to follow on LinkedIn and was featured on a list of top women breaking the bias globally. Additionally, she is a role model featured in the book Girls Who Do You Want To Be, alongside other phenomenal world changers. As the founder of Advancing Your Potential, Hira champions allyship programs and inclusive talent management initiatives. She is also the award-winning author of two transformational books: Her Way To The Top: A Guide to Smashing the Glass Ceiling and Her Allies: A Practical Toolkit to Help Men Lead Through Advocacy.
