Professor Jonathan Bell, Professor of US History and Director of the UCL Institute of the Americas, will discuss the development an economic closet encasing the political economy of health services during the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.
Dr Richard Mole, Senior Lecturer in Political Sociology at the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies, will explore how the process of migration may have influenced the sexual behaviour and attitudes of gay/bisexual men from Central and Eastern Europe in London.
