Description

This is a free one-day course delivered by THT Norfolk for all practitioners promoting sexual health in Norfolk.

Aim:

  • To explore the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that are require for good sexual health promotion with young people.

Outcomes: (participant should be able to)

  • Describe key aspects of the Sexual Offences Act and other sexual health guideance as it relates to working with young people.
  • Identify local and national guidance on sexual health promotion for young people.
  • Explain young people's sexual health rights.
  • Name and reflect upon skills necessary for sexual health promotion.
  • Recognise how attitudes and values influence sexual health promotion.
  • Understand consent in the context of relationships.
  • Signpost young people to other sexual health services.


Lunch is not provided, although tea and coffee are available and there are shops nearby. Free parking is available on site, please follow the signs to the FIELD PARKING. The Training Lounge is located in separate building behind the main Community Hub.
