For many of us, digital technology is now integral to how we manage our sexual health. Over 40% of sexual health consultations in 2024 were carried out online, and more local services are now offering digital access to PrEP and contraception alongside STI testing.
Meanwhile social media is increasingly shaping our attitudes and behaviours when to comes to sexual health. This is especially true for young people, who look for information online when they can't have their questions answered elsehwere.
For this special Sexual Health Week webinar, we bring together an expert panel to examine how being Chronically Online is transforming sexual health provision. We'll look at how online testing can combat the rise in STIs, how to combat misinformation on social media, and what advances in AI could mean for how people manage their sexual health in the future.
On the panel:
Anatole Menon-Johansson, Clincial Director, Brook
Chris Howroyd, CEO, SH:24
Sam Hepworth, Head of Communications, Brook
This webinar is free to attend, although we welcome donations from those attendees who are able to contribute, to help Brook continue our fight for safe, accessible healthcare.
