**In order to attend this training, you must have attended our Level 1 training. If you have not attended Level 1, we will be unable to confirm your place on this session.**
Aim:
Increased understanding, skills, and knowledge to support survivors of sexual violence on an ongoing basis.
Objectives:
• Increased skills and knowledge to offer trauma-informed support to survivors who have experienced sexual violence.
• Increased knowledge of the impact of sexual violence trauma and coping.
• Increased Knowledge of the importance of maintaining professional boundaries.
• Services are more trauma informed and can identify when to refer on for specialist support.
There are four training levels to the National Trauma Training Programme, Trauma Informed, Trauma Skilled, Trauma Enhanced and Trauma Specialist. Our level 2 training aligns to the National Trauma Skilled level, this practice level is aimed at staff who are likely to come into contact with people who may have been affected by trauma. Our training focuses on sexual violence as a form of trauma and does not focus on other forms of interpersonal trauma.
