26 February to 1 March 2018 – Cardiff (FULL)

24 to 27 April 2018 – London

Upon successful completion, tutors are licensed to provide SFA: Suicide First Aid through Understanding Suicide Intervention,

5-day Development Programme and SFA Licence fee: £2500

Further guidance and expressions of interest

The choice to professionally and personally invest in suicide prevention education programme delivery can be a hugely rewarding decision, but it is not one that needs to be made without guidance from people already involved. If you or your organisation are interested in becoming involved in a fast-growing area of interest across the world, please contact a Programme Developer or SFA Mentor at Suicide-Safer London CIC: The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Training UK, for an informal discussion.

All persons involved with the development of this programme have remarkable experience in suicide prevention and are some of the most experienced educators in the world. We are always looking for people with the same motivation, values and beliefs to join our team and work with us to increase suicide awareness and help practitioners and community members grow their skill set, so to enhance the opportunities for people with thoughts of suicide to access the help they need to stay safe from suicide.

Please email or phone to make initial contact (please provide a contact telephone number).

Both SFA: Suicide First Aid programmes are supported by exclusive audio visual presentations featuring international mental health campaigners Jonny Benjamin MBE and Neil Laybourn, which augment learning and allow participants to both culturally contextualise their understanding of Suicide First Aid, in addition to relate directly to the Stranger on the Bridge experience. “I’m really glad you told me”, produced in 2016, additionally features colleague relationships and the use of Employee Assistance Programmes to support suicide-safety and wellbeing
