About the Conference: The Scottish Government has set an ambitious target deliver 50,000 affordable homes in the next 5 years, 35,000 for affordable rent. The SFHA Development Conference, THE conference for the developers of affordable housing will look at:
- Overcoming the main challenges and constraints to increasing housing supply – including land availability, infrastructure and human capacity
- Working in partnership to increase housing supply across Scotland, manage risk and share skills
- Using innovative and off site construction to deliver more affordable homes
- Creating quality places
- The reform of the planning system
- Building on the housing association sector’s achievements in delivering quality homes and regeneration our communities

There will also be sessions on finance, funding models and on developing for older people
