Description

All Scottish Postgraduate students are welcome to attend this event which will investigate emerging methodologies in Medieval-Early Modern research. This event will allow students the chance to consider their research in regard to prominent methodological approaches. This event is open to all postgraduate students within Scottish Graduate School affiliated institutions.

Workshops will be focussed on the following:

1. Gender and Medieval Studies
2. Authorship and Appropriation
3. Materiality and Sources
4. Performative theory and Drama
5. Centre for the History of the Emotions
6. Medievalism and Film.

This event will also function as the launch of the SGSAH funded Postgraduates in Scotland Medieval and Early Modern Research Network. We invite all students interested in methodological practice in the Humanities to attend this event. We particularly wish to stress that researchers of all periods and disciplines are invited to attend.

Travel bursaries for attendees are available and we look forward to welcoming you to Dundee.
