Ar gyfer Pwy/For who?

Mae'r sesiwn yma ar gyfer pobol sy'n gweithio yn y diwydiannau creadigol yng Nghymru sydd â diddordeb mewn archwilio gyrfa ysgrifennu ar gyfer Gemau Fideo. Does dim rhaid i chi fod yn ysgrifennwr proffesiynol.

This session is for people working in the creative industries in Wales who have an interest in exploring writing for Videogames as a potential career. You do not have to be a professional writer.

Disgrifiad

Mae gan lawer o ysgrifennwyr brofiad mewn ysgrifennu ar gyfer theatr, ffilm neu deledu, ond nid oes ganddynt y wybodaeth sydd ei hangen i drosglwyddo'r sgiliau hyn i'r diwydiant Gemau Fideo. Mae deall nid yn unig sut mae'r grefft o ysgrifennu, yn ogystal â'r ffyrdd mewn i'r diwydiant, yn wahanol ar gyfer y cyfrwng rhyngweithiol hwn, yn hanfodol i unrhyw awdur sy'n ystyried gyrfa yn y maes. Dan arweiniad awdur traws-gyfrwng, gyda dros 85 o gredydau gemau, bydd y sesiwn yma'n rhoi'r sylfeini sydd eu hangen ar awduron i ddechrau archwilio gyrfa yn y diwydiant Gemau Fideo.

Description

The majority of writers have experience in writing for theatre, film, or television, but lack the information they need to transfer these skills into the videogames industry. Understanding how not just the art and craft of writing but also the industry pathways differ in this interactive medium is essential for any writer which to move into this medium. Led by a transmedia writer with over 85 games credits, this session will give writers the foundations they need to begin their exploration of videogames.
