At ShAFF in March we were supposed to host the Film Focus with Sheffield Hallam University, hosted by Paul Diffley of Hot Aches Productions. The Film Focus is a pretty informal event bringing adventure filmmakers together to chew the fat about making adventure films. It was cancelled along with the rest of the festival as Covid-19 hit.

This is the first of a series of ShAFF Online events to go some way to filling the void left by the cancellation of the festival.

Beau describes himself as an award winning filmmaker, poly-jobist, speaker, writer, odd. we can vouch for the award winning bit - ShAFF has awarded him a few. He's recently quit his job in academia to become a dad and a full time filmmaker. He's just started a series of 14 films in 14 months. We're excited to see them.

Rather than put Beau on the spot and ask him to fill an hour with a structured talk Paul Diffley will interview him. You'll also have the chance to ask questions via the chat window. You can even email them in in advance if you like (info@shaff.co.uk). This talk will appeal to filmmakers and anybody who has enjoyed his films.
