Shakespeare’s birthday is 23 April. His works make many references to flowers. A timely one from Love’s Labours Lost is:
When daisies pied, and violets blue
And Lady-Smocks all silver white
And Cuckoo buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight.
On this in-depth guided tour, we will see all of these, and many others, and relate the flowers to Shakespeare’s works.
