Awareness-raising training for any practitioner or interested individual.
25th March 2021 (10:00am - 12:00 pm).
Training includes:
- How domestic abuse affects women and their families from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities
- The varying understanding of the concept of ‘Honour’ and how this impacts on BME community members experiencing domestic abuse
- Forced marriage & FGM
- ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’ status
- Structures and policies existing in Scotland and the UK
Booking through Eventbrite link only. Free to book; attendance cost is £20, to be paid by invoice or trough Eventbrite in advance. Your invoice will be sent to the email address used for booking.
