Event description

Description

In 2017, the West Midlands Housing Officers Group (WMHOG) has part funded research into three related issues where there is need, demand and an evidence base that business as usual will not deliver the high quality homes and national housing infrastructure required in the UK.

This morning event launches the interim findings of the SHAP WMHOG task and finish groups so that our wider networks and key UK innovators and leaders can comment and add their own thinking to the debate. The outcomes of the event will be taken forward in further research and the final outputs will be launched on 16 May 2018.

The event signposts to the opportunities to bid for ERDF to support innovative approaches to changing the way our housing stock is designed, built and managed.

This event is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and by the West Midlands Housing Officers Group.

ERDF grant is available in most LEP areas currently. The Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP has calls open for gap funding innovative new build low carbon homes and projects involving land remediation and the creation of blue and green infrastructure.
