Shaping Primary Care in Guildford

Primary Care in Guildford has seen a significant increase in the pressures it faces over the past few years. GP Practices locally, particularly those located in North Guildford have seen an increase in the a number of challenges – these include a rise in the number of registered patients, insufficient space to develop services and lack of capacity to develop workforce within GP Practices.

NHS Guildford and Waverley CCG has been working with colleagues in Guildowns Group Practice and Woodbridge Hill Surgery to develop options for the future provision of primary care in Onslow, Westborough, Stoughton and Stoke.

We have started to explore options for modernising and developing the primary care estate in North Guildford through mapping; identifying gaps and issues. We want to hear from the public on their views on the future of primary care. Come along to our deliberative workshop to join our interactive session.
