Academia invites you to an inspirational half day event at The Museum of London.

Why attend?
The session will explore the vital role leaders play in identifying, learning and managing change in school environments especially about driving transformational learning with Apple technology. If you are a school leader interested in identifying clear ways to shape learning for the future in your school this event is essential.

All attendees will leave with essential resources to enable them to identify, lead and sustain change and shape learning for the future in their schools.

Who should attend?
The event is ideal for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members at Independent and state-funded Schools.

Speakers:


Simon Pile
Simon is a is passionate educator who puts creativity at the heart of the curriculum. In the classroom he looks to inspire learners to think differently about what technology can do for them. As a result the children in his classrooms are authentic creators who use film, radio and the power of the written word to share their work with a global audience.

In addition Simon runs the Brent Apple Regional Training Centre, is an Apple Distinguished Educator and sits on the Apple Education Advisory Board. He is also an Into Film Ambassador and Editorial Board Member on the London Grid for Learning. In 2016 he was chosen as Teacher of the Year at the National Into Film Awards.

Paul Hutton
Paul is a highly-experienced teacher and engaging presenter across all ages and phases. He is passionate about inspiring quality learning, exploiting creativity and enabling all users to show their learning with technologies in a wide range of contexts.

In addition to teaching in the UK he taught in France and in Australia; he led ICT development as a local authority consultant for a decade, worked in leadership teams and served as vice chair on a school governing body. Paul is an Apple Distinguished Educator and an Apple Education Trainer.

Tom Able-Green
Tom is Academia’s Education Solutions Manager. He is responsible for Apple’s proposition from Academia in terms of a strategic teaching and learning perspective across all education sectors from Early Years to Higher Education including SEND.
