About this event
The European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) is delighted to invite stakeholders from across the sports and active nutrition industry and the wider food sector to join a regulatory-themed event on "Sports nutrition policy and regulation - Status, challenges, and opportunities for the future". Join us to hear from high-level speakers and participate in the debates on the EU and UK regulatory initiatives that will shape sports and active nutrition in the years ahead.
There has never been a more important time to discuss these issues, as the EU and the UK work to set legislation that will impact industry and consumers: from advertising restrictions to address public health concerns, to new labelling requirements, to the setting of limits for certain food ingredients, to working for a more sustainable food chain. ESSNA has gathered high-level speakers for a thought-provoking discussion on the challenges and opportunities the sports and active nutrition sector will face in the context of flagship initiatives such as the EU Farm to Fork Strategy, and the UK Health and Care Bill.
