Event description
The International Network of Universities is a global consortium of 10 member universities, delivering workshops for its students and staff.

About this event

In this session, we will look at the role of students and student engagement in supporting a variety of activities here at Kingston university. Activities which range from curriculum development, student representation, quality assurance, research, and mentoring. Using Sherry Arnstein's Ladder of Citizen Participation (1969) we will look at the varying levels to which students are engaged in the University; and critically discuss if what we are currently doing is enough to hear the student voice and more importantly include them in the decisions we make.

Speaker

This session will be led by Tamara Reid, Inclusive Curriculum Consultants Programme Lead at the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre at Kingston University (UK).
