Shards & Scraps
In this workshop, we will give a new life to pottery shards and fabric scraps, into beautiful and unique jewellery you can proudly wear. A simple, yet classy way to recycle precious materials.
First things first: painting!
After you pick your favourite shards of pottery, we will decorate/paint them with acrylic paints. This is the moment where you can be the most creative. From abstract to detailed flowers, it is all allowed as long as it reflects your preference and personality.
While your mini painting is drying, it’s time to cut and arrange the scraps. You can create your own designs, from fabric pearls to flowers and geometrical shapes. With an awl we put all the pieces together on a rigid or loose necklace.
Last but not least, we attach our ceramic shard, and we are ready to wear our art piece. The aim is to teach you how to create beauty with the lowest ecological impact. You’ll leave the session with new skills and a new vision of leftovers.
