The Small Studio invites you to
‘Shared Collaged Stories’
A creative space for those who may be grieving
Shared Collaged Stories is a monthly creative gathering, which welcomes anyone who may be grieving - not to fix or solve, but to gently make and share. There’s no need for any artistic experience, just a willingness to come as you are.
Using simple collage techniques of cutting, tearing, layering, and arranging, we can gently explore memory, meaning, and the quiet process of piecing things together.
The group is led by Sarah Edmonds, a registered Art Psychotherapist. However, please note this is not a therapy group as we will not be exploring personal mental health issues. While creative expression can be supportive and have therapeutic benefits, this group is not a substitute for professional therapy or mental health support. ‘Shared Collaged Stories’ offers a calm, informal space for connection, creativity, and community. This group is intended as a gentle, creative space for connection and reflection, not for therapeutic processing. By choosing to take part, you agree to take responsibility for your own wellbeing and to seek appropriate support if needed.
Whether you feel like talking or simply making in companionable quiet, you are welcome here.
