Our Shared Reading groups are here to bring people together, ease feelings of isolation, and support well-being through the joy of literature and words.
These welcoming sessions offer a warm, friendly environment where everyone is invited to join the conversation—or simply sit back and listen.
Our free Shared Reading groups meet regularly to explore various kinds of writing—stories, poems, letters, quotations, and more. Whether you'd like to read aloud or just listen, all are welcome. Write Queer
Our writing groups meet in Derby, Nottingham, and (soon) online. They are a growing project that seeks to support queer writers and allies in developing their confidence with the written word.
They offer a judgement-free space led by Richard, who will deliver a short writing tool to the group and then these are applied in a variety of activities. There is no pressure to be anything other than yourself at Write Queer.
